I'm Anna, a creative based in Richmond, VA. I am a graphic designer, visual artist, and letterpress printer. By day I design visual identities, books, and more at my studio, Palindrome Creative Co.

I've been making art for as long as I can remember, but these days I mostly work in pencil, acrylic, and gouache.

IF I HAVE TO USE WORDS

My artwork is how I sort through life and its webs, swarms, cracks, clusters, bundles, dust piles, debris, peeling layers, stacks, and bottomless pits.

Sometimes it all feels so funny but often it feels senseless, and making work feels as simple as cheering myself up or feeding myself a rich, full meal of color.

I’ve found the most peace in not putting too much importance on anything I make and it helps keep me going when I feel stuck.
